Mr. James Holmes, II, 44, of Aylett, VA, died on August 10, 2020 in Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Holmes was a native of Fredericksburg, VA and the son of James W. Holmes, Jr and the late Faye Holmes. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and worked in the trucking industry.

Survivors include two children, James W. Holmes, III of Richmond, VA and Jessica Holmes of Henrico, Va; his father James W. Holmes, Sr. (Virginia) of Aylett, Va; two brothers, Charles Holmes (Lynette) and Christopher Holmes (Jenelle); one sister, Nicole Smith (Robert) and two grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen by the family.
