Where does my Beloved Aunt Annie Ruth story starts. It could start on Railroad Ave in Pascagoula where Uncle Willie and Aunt Annie Ruth were joined in Holy Matrimony at Grandma Maud house. Basically, it makes no difference because whether you are friends or family the start will be different. It is a beautiful journey for all of us to ponder. I can honestly say Aunt Annie Ruth and everyone will agree she was born an Angel and those wings were bigger than life and stayed that way until she reached Heaven and received those Heavenly Wings. Just one feather from her wings will put us on the right path to glory. Karen and the rest of the family keep in mind, caregivers are Angels in training. We have been truly blessed over with the years with a collections of beautiful and caring Aunts and Uncles and Grandma Maud and Aunt Nat. Just reflect on that and while you are in that thought take a look at their smiles. But one smile that will always be in my thoughts is the smile of my Aunt Annie Ruth. I learned so much from her smile. I learned that no matter how many meals and lunches that were prepared over the years or how many miles were added to those transportation vans, they all came with that Aunt Annie Ruth "Made You Feel Good and God Bless You Smile". I will always admire her Christian Spirit and her insatiable drive to help others. To my cousins: God Bless You as you continue your voyages in life. Remember your Mother perfected had a road map on this earth that lead her to Heaven. That road map is for all us to follow and it all starts with a smile and a belief. We will always keep the memories of the "Angel of Joseph Avenue "in our thoughts as we travel around the world. We can always look up to Heaven and say: We are blessed to have the fruits of Uncle Willie and Aunt Annie Ruth still on earth with us today. God Bless--Love You All...Roland Charles, Fort Meade, Maryland

It was the fall of 1965, I had just graduated Miss Carver High, Pascagoula and accepted at Tougaloo College in Jackson. Aunt Annie Ruth was one of my biggest supporters, she gave me great encouragement. As fate would have it, she said she wanted to drive to school. It was the fastest automobile ride my grandmother and I ever had. She scared us to death! (LOL) She had a heavy foot. But what I will remember most was that she was compassionate and loving to other people. She loved me and she believed in me. Through all the years, she never forgot about God, her faith or her family. We will miss you Aunt Annie Ruth. To my family, Love, Respect & Celebration, she's gone home to be with God.
