Obituary For Melvin Buckley, Sr.
Mr. Melvin Buckley, Sr., 65, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center, Hattiesburg, MS.
He is the son of the late Hollis and Katie Mae Buckley. He was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Buckley was a self-employed floor installer who loved basketball, playing dominoes, baseball and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.
Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Parkman Cemetery, New Hebron, Mississippi at 11am.
He is survived by: sons, Melvin Buckley, Jr. and Antonio McGee both of Hattiesburg, MS; sisters, Maeola Darty of Hattiesburg, MS and Rosemary Buckley of Prentiss, MS; grandchildren: 3
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home, 1-6pm.
