Mr. Leon Bothwell was born on February 16,1959 to the late Leonard and Willie Mae Bothwell in Pell City, Alabama.

At an early age Leon was baptized and joined the Weeping Mary Baptist Church in Ashville, Alabama

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Florence Johnson of Ashville, Alabama on October 18, 1986.

He leaves to cherish a loving and devoted wife, one son Leon Quintor’s Bothwell, Ashville, Alabama. One daughter Latoya Deon (Jesse) Pena of Oneonta, Alabama. Four grandchildren Nevaeha, Natasha, Natoya, and Nakira Pena of Oneonta, Alabama. His siblings; Mary (late Rueben) Evans, Leonard Bothwell Jr. Carolyn (late Jerry) Polk, Late Henry (late Vivian) Bothwell, Dorothy (Curtis) Phillips of Ashville, Alabama. Edward Bothwell, Wanda looney, Gadsden, Alabama, Clarence (Bridget) Bothwell, Oscar (Beverly) Bothwell Oneonta, Alabama.

His in-laws; Phillip (Janice) Johnson, late Eddie (Clovia) Johnson of Gadsden, Alabama. Gladys (Lamar) Callahan, Ragland, AL. Glenda (Ronnie) Mostella, Floretta Johnson, Ashville, AL.

Public viewing will be noon-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Overcoming Church Of Lord Jesus Christ Pastor Bishop Charles Williams Elder Michael Richardson Officiating. Burial in Ashville City Cemetery.
