I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

Mr. Harold “Harry” Clark, age 98, of 422 Culpepper Road in Manson, North Carolina departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina. Reverend Charlie Leath will officiate services and deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow at Burchette Chapel United Church of Christ Cemetery in Manson, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his children, Geraldine Akins (Jack) of Manson, NC, Rose Mark Clark Madison of Columbus, OH, Jerome William Clark (Doris) of Vineyard Haven, MA, Karen Stacey Clark Griffin (Michael) of Willoughby Hills, OH, and Harold Kennedy Clark (Danita) of Teaneck, NJ; his grandchildren, Tanya Madison Howard (Alfred), Bryant Keith Madison, Stacey Christine Brickus (Louis), Dana Clark, Harold K. Clark, Jr., Aaron Keith Clark, Michael Forrest Griffin, and Avery Ellis Griffin; his great grandchildren, Brittany and Donovan Brickus, Daniel and Jason Madison, Sydney Clark and Lilyana Griffin; one sister, Iris Clark Bland of Naples, Florida; beloved sister-in-law, Mary Clark; former daughter-in-law, Dianne Clark; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The body will be on view at the funeral home starting at 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
