Mr. Charles Edward Edge was born on July 20, 1952 to the late Ray Cody and Ernestine Hayes-Edge. Charles was a very calm individual and meant every word he said. On August 15, 2020 this father, brother, uncle and friend was taken from this world through the negligence of others.

Charles loved his family and friends. His calmness was a trait many wanted to have.

His memories will be cherished by his devoted children: Lekey Davis, Zandria Thornton, Nathtedra Thornton and Maurice (Mallory) Walton; several devoted grandchildren: Lakedrious Stanford, Latravious Sanders, Zaire Barnes, Keyan Davis, Ka’shara Rucker, Marisa Norton, Major Norton, Marco Norton, Janeshia Prenell, Ja’Nay Thornton, Jantzen Thornton, and Jy’Nathan Thornton; two sisters: Joanne Carter and Adalia Jackson; one brother: Bobby Edge; five aunts: Ethelrene Walton, Gensie Hayes, Ruth Barber, Florence Barber and Louise Tyler; two uncles: Alexander Barber and Fred Barber; a special sister: Lula Mae Hollis; a special friend: Paula Maxwell and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 @ 10AM at Terry Family Funeral Home Talbotton 144 College Avenue Talbotton, GA. Social distancing will be enforced and face coverings are required.
