A Summary of Life November 5, 1958 – August 11, 2020

Elise Lavern Hatcher-Jackson, daughter of the late SFC. Frank D Hatcher Sr (Preceding her in death) and Elvenia Stokes Hatcher was born in Augusta, GA on November 5, 1958. She was the second born to grace this beautiful union, Frank D. Hatcher Jr, Teresa L. Hatcher-Frazier (preceding her in death), and Ellis E. Hatcher (preceding her in death). At a very, young age, the family moved to Miami, Florida where she earned her primary and secondary education in the Miami Dade County Schools System. In 1976, She graduated from Miami Edison Senior High School and continued her higher education at Miami Dade Community College where she studied general education. She later received her Medical Administrative Assistant Diploma at Concorde Career Institute, where her sister Teresa was her instructor. Elise gave her life to Christ at a very, young age, and she joined St. Matthew Freewill Baptist Church. Elise met Lester Davis in Senior High School and together they were blessed with a beautiful daughter Takeitha Davis. On December 13, 1986 she was united in holy matrimony with Roosevelt Jackson. Their union was blessed with three beautiful children, Sheria Jackson, Roshonda Jackson, and Roosevelt Jackson Jr. She had nieces and nephews that she took as her own SFC Frank D. Hatcher III, Trevares Frazier, Ebonee Frazier, and Joy Frazier. Elise had a love out of this world for children. She had a special kind of love for her grand-children, nieces and nephews. In 1974, She started working at Kentucky Fried Chicken while in high School. She later accepted a position as a bank teller at Barnett Bank. She worked until a career change opportunity became available at the Miami Dade County Waste Management, where she held the position of a scale house operator. She decided that she wanted to help other’s and made a career change decision and accepted a position at Dr. Alvin and Associates in Aventura, FL and taught Medical Administration Assistant Courses at Concorde Career Institute. Her final position that she held in Miami, FL was a Branch manager at One United Bank (formerly known as People’s National Bank). She started a small business doing accountant for a Property Management Company, Beauty School, and a Disable Assisting Living Facility. Her Last position she held was in Quitman, GA, where she worked for Coastal Plains Community Services as a Community Service Coordinator.

On August 11, 2020 at 3:50 p.m. Elise quietly exchanged time here on earth for eternal life with her heavenly father.

Hatcher Jr (Killeen, TX); one brother in law Edwin Frazier (Miami, FL), one great aunt Cora Lee Neloms; one aunt Eliza Cole; 18 grand-children Jakeitha, Jameshia (Demetrius), Jonathan, Jahkeem, Jason, Oshaiah, Jaykeith, Jakirria, Osaiah Jr., Ja’Karia, Jaquan, Sommer, Omory, Albert Jr., Brittney, Jayqueshia, Arlington, Tonroy, 5 great-grandchildren Zackary, Riniyah, Dmitriyana, Ariah, Skaiylah, nieces and nephews SFC. Frank (Angelic) Hatcher, III; Fakeya Hatcher; Tacovia (Dion) Woods; Xavier (Marquisha) Hatcher, Courtney (Solomon) Hatcher-Harris, Antwan Hatcher, Trevares Frazier, Yuric (Vernetta) Hatcher, Ebonee Frazier, Dante Hatcher, Joy Frazier, Ya’Donis Hatcher, Tajai Hatcher, grand-nieces and nephews Amber, Jada, Jayla, Frank IV, Joshua, Zoe, Ty’Kerria, Tyrique, Jayven, Kaydence, Arie, Victor, Dante Jr, Kyrah, Yadonis, Adonis, Yasmin, Yuric Jr, Lliam, Jeniyah, great-grandniece and great-grandnephews Arbre, Evans, Aden, god brother Wilbert Randell, 2 god sisters Lisa Randell, Pinky Jackson, god-mother Edith Jackson, and a host of family and friends.
