Obituary For Mr. Maurice Lucas

We sadly announce the passing of Mr. Maurice Lucas, 54, husband of Sonya Fennell Lucas, of Yemassee. The transition of time for Maurice came on Saturday, August 22nd in the Landmark Hospital of Savannah, Ga. He was the son of the late Clair "Clara" Green and grandson of the late Leola and Elijah Green of the Jonesville community of Yemassee.

Hours of visitation will be on Friday, August 28th, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home. Graveside service honoring his life will be held on Saturday, August 29th, 11:00 am in the Mt. Nebo Church Cemetery, 22 Jonesville Avenue, Yemassee, SC. The family will celebrate forever their love for him.

**In light of COVID-19 guidelines, we ask that you view and exit in the visitation on Friday. All services will require a mask and social distancing. We thank you for your consideration of your welfare and that of others as well.**
