MRS. JEWELL DANIEL ECHOLS - Age 98, of Columbus, Ohio and formerly of Trion, GA passed away Monday, August 24, 2020. She was born on June 26, 1922 in Gaylesville, Alabama to the late Charlie and Birder Daniel. She was preceded by her husband of forty-eight years, Benjamin D. Echols, her grandson, Rezan Taylor, Jr., siblings, Idella, Mozelle, Lilly, Thelma, Ross, Joe, Harold, Lee, Charlie Jr., and her twin brother, Jack. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and retired from Riegal Textiles.

Survivors are her children, Daniel (Sandra) Echols, and Linda F. (Rezan, Sr.) Taylor; grandchildren, April Echols, Kenneth Echols, Leah Taylor, Damien Taylor, Nicholas Echols; a host of great grandchildren; sister, Velma Adams; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside Service and Interment will be on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 A. M. at Allgood Cemetery, Trion, Georgia with Rev. Robert Barrett, officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home after 12:00 noon on Friday. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
