Obituary For Karen Prunty

Karen Anne Prunty, 72, of Walnut St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital. She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late William C. and Mary (Collins) Jones, a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and a devoted homemaker, who had a passion for cooking, helping others and giving advice. Karen was the widow of Robert Prunty and leaves to celebrate her life, her sons, Robert I. and William E. Prunty; her brothers, Ronald and Daryl Jones; her sisters, Marcia Beasley, Shelia Smith, Carolyn Gathers and Marilyn Cleveland; her three grandchildren; her two great grands and a host of other relatives and friends. Her life will be celebrated on Thursday, August 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing from 10:00. until 11:00 a.m and burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Covid 19 guidelines will be observed with masks and six foot social distancing for all attendees. Live streaming of the service will also be available on the Major H. Winfield Funeral Home
