Obituary For Almeta Hightower Winslett

A Celebration of Life held privately for Ms. Almeta Hightower Winslett, will be Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services with Minister Steve Guyton, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Almeta Hightower Winslett was born October 18, 1944 in Clayton, Alabama. At a young age she attended School in Polk County, Florida and was a graduate of Oakland High School Class of 1964 in Haines City. She became a homemaker and was an exceptional mother to her four children. She loved people and attending her class reunions. In the early morning of August 23, 2020, she was called into eternal rest.

She was preceded in death by her Mother Alfell Hightower, Father Clyde Winslett, Son Tarvarez Hightower, Brother David Winslett and Sister Viola Hightower.

Precious and Loving memories are left with Daughters: Shawanda Hightower -Watson and husband Carlton, Tracey Hightower and Kara Hightower; Grandchildren: Korissa Williams, Kerria Jones, Shakena Jones, Lequesha Montgomery, Brian Ricks, Kenya Ricks and DeShana Johnson; 19 Great-Grandchildren; Goddaughter: Latosha Strong; Sisters: Falicia Hightower, Brenda Diane Webb; Brother: Reginald Hightower and a host of other sorrowing relatives, friends and high school classmates.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue Tampa, Florida 33605. In compliance of CDC Guidelines there will be Social Distancing and Facial Mask are a requirement.
