Kenny was married to Debra Kennedy. He was raised in High Point NC, where he attended T.W. Andrews High School, and later attended college at Barber Scotia in Concord, NC. Kenny’s career was in auto mechanics. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with friends and family.
Left to cherish precious memories are his daughters, Kecia (Donnell) Kennedy, Tiesha Rorie, Shemaiah Smith, Shardaiye Smith, Kendra Kennedy and Takeiba Kennedy; his two brothers, Micheal (Annette) Smith, Stephon (Arteia) Smith; a very special nephew, Micheal (Rell) Smith, Jr.; three grandchildren, Aaliyah Hunt, Joshua Wadelington and Jordan Henley all of High Point, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, other close friends and family members.
A private memorial service will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel.
