Obituary For Deborah Hardwick

Deborah (Debbie) Anne Hardwick was born February 4,1962 in Gadsden, Alabama to the late Emma Jean Williams and Jemes "Woot" Franklin.

She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and united with Morningstar Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her death.

She graduated from Gadsden High School in Gadsden, Alabama and later completed the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program at Gadsden State Community College. She worked as an LPN at Coosa Valley Health Care Center, the Gadsden City School System and Gadsden Health and Rehab Center.

She departed this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Jean Williams; father, Jemes Franklin; stepfather, Rufus J. Williams; grandmother, Corine Horton Wilson; and grandfather, Walter Hardwick. She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving family: one daughter, Kambi Hardwick; two sons, Orientha Hardwick and Torrie (Mollie) Hardwick, all of Gadsden, AL; five grandchildren, Kashad Banks, Chandler Edwards, Keelan Edwards, Greyson Hardwick, and Kinsley Hardwick all of Gadsden, AL; one great-grandchild, Hudson Banks; two brothers, Michael Franklin and Jeffrey Williams, both of Gadsden, AL; two sisters, Belinda Garrett and Teresa Speigner, both of Gadsden, AL; five nephews, Brandon (LaTonya) Garrett, Mobile, AL; Andre’ (Stephanie) Mitchell, Jr., Jabriel Garrett, and Tristian Speigner, all of Gadsden, AL, and Courtney Garrett, Tuscaloosa, AL, one niece, Johnnisha Norman, Gadsden, AL; a special aunt, Annie Jo Dewhart, Gadsden, AL; and a host of family and friends.

Public Viewing will be on Tuesday From 11-6 P.M. at the funeral home

Funeral Services will be 1P.M. Wednesday at the Morning star baptist church, with Rev. Jermany Bowman officiating.
