Obituary For Anna Helen Legare

On Friday, August 28, 2020, Anna Helen Legare answered the master's call & received her heavenly reward. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Legare Sr.; grandmother, Ella Pinckney; three brothers, Arthur Legare Jr., Henry Clifford Legare, and Isaac "Ike" Legare; one sister, Hermena Ruth Legare; and a special niece Judy Ann Legare.

Her joyous spirit will be remembered by her loving and cherished son, Quentin Legare (Cynthia) of Johns Island, SC; her beloved mother, Viola P. Legare of Johns Island, SC; her devoted sister, Bettye W. Legare of Johns Island, SC. Her honorary grandchildren, Jordan Bing of Summerville, SC; Briana Chisolm of San Diego, CA, and Wayne Chisolm of North Charleston, SC. Caring sisters-in-law, Alfreda G. Legare of Johns Island, SC, and Barbara P. Legare of North Charleston, SC. Special nieces Teresa L. Patterson (Leroy) of Johns Island, SC; Pamela D. Legare of Ashburn, VA; Whitney C. Patterson of Johns Island, SC and Shekinah P. White (Aaron) of Charleston, SC. Supportive friends and cousins, Barbara Ann Legare and Carolyn Green Buncum; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.

A graveside service will be held Friday, September 4, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., Wesley United Methodist Church, 2718 River Road, Johns Island, SC. Viewing will be held Thursday, September 03, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walker's Mortuary Chapel of Peace, 3407 Old Pond Road, Johns Island, SC. For the health and safety of all, facial masks, social distancing, and gathering limitations are required for the viewing and graveside service. The family respectively requests that everyone follow these guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
