Carlton was a positive influence in so many lives for so many years. His memory will live on through his good deeds and his compassion for others. He was a good man, a good citizen, a good family man and a good brother. As the youngest of our family of seven boys, I always looked up to my older brothers, especially Carlton & Eddie. To me they were the stalwarts of the family: big, brave and wise. And this is the way I regarded them all my life. As a youngster I felt safe because of my older brothers. It was well known around Ripley that you didn't "mess around" with the Drumwright boys (Eddie, Carlton, Neal, Harold, Lynn, Larry, Bill).BRNEF To do so meant engaging the wrath of the whole family. May Carlton rest in peace in Heaven forevermore. *** I wish the obit was in the name of Carlton Drumwright, the name everyone remembers.***
