Samuel I. Gladden, "Gorilla", 79, of Richmond, died August 31, 2020. Surviving are two daughters, Erika L. Moss (James) and Joy N. Gladden; brother, William Gladden, Jr.; devoted friends, Robert Booker, Leonard Gray and Charles Rose; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 4 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd.
