Guest Book

To the Family and Our Beloved Friends Life, "God Gives It and God Takes It Away". Often times we hear the words, to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. I'm reminded of a song, "Some Glad Morning when this life is over, I'll fly away". I'll Fly Away to a home on God's Celestial Shore. Know that it was by God's Loving Grace, and James Faith that brought him thus far. So let us be reminded of his Goodness and the lives he touched. We should all be reminded of his memories, and relish them whole heartedly. I knew James Griffin, as a young man, in a way we grew up together, went to school and church together. We even played on the same football team together. James also encouraged me to join the Military, and I joined a year later after he entered the Air Force. Although we didn't stay in contact like we should, I would always ask about him, when I visited home. I'm reminded, "Good friends are like stars, you don't always see them, but you know they are always there", and when I saw him, it was as if we never missed a beat. He was in good spirit, and he told me he was doing fine. We talked a bit, laughed and joked. During our conversation he seemed to be very happy, especially when he talked about his family, I no he was overjoyed. I know "My God is not a God of Confusion, he doesn't make mistakes". On the day James flew away. God called him home. Know that God is your Comforter and your Rock during these times. Know there's Healing in the name of Jesus, Peace, Comfort and Joy in his holy name. I'm reminded of the scripture KJV. Mat: 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke, is easy and my burden is light. Jesus will wipe away all of your tears. Just hold on to his unchanging hands. Know that Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, will lift you up and get you through these sorrowful times. James is ok. The Burdens of his heart has been lifted, he's at peace with his Father, whom is in Heaven. May God continue to comfort all of you, during these sorrowful times. In 1986 I was welcome in the Fisher family. I started smiling when I first met aka Pimp. Roger was teasing on his sister Louise. We all learn very quickly that when it comes to Louise Pimp put on his protection mode. Roger said I can say anything about my sis. Pimp said not about my wife. I thought I better go home. Next 5 minutes Roger and Pimp had love for each other. Everyone knew that Pimp was a provider of love for the Fisher and Griffin family. Pimp had a gentle soul. I have learned that you don't question God.I believe and know that they join the golden gate with wings together. God don't make mistakes. It was a pleasure to be part of the Fisher and Griffin family
