OBITUARY:

Mr. Jim Harris was born on January 27, 1927 to Mr. and Mrs. Alex Harris in Holmes County.

Mr. Harris is survived by his lovely, faithful, devoted wife Mrs. Emma Harris to cherish their memories and happiness.

His life came to an end August 29, 2020, at his home in Tchula, MS.

He confessed to Christ at an early age and joined New Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Cruger, MS.

Mr. Harris had three brothers to precede him in death; Field Harris, Cap Harris and Ben Harris, four sisters; Francis Harris, Mae Willie Darby, Alberta Jackson and Eliza Gould, two children; Bertha L. Jackson and Larry Harris.

He has two surviving siblings; Robert L. Harris and Bessie A. Harris(Los Angeles, CA);nine surviving children; Annie N. Conner/Larry,(Chicago,IL); Limmie Doria, (St. Petersburg, FL); Alvin Russell(Lexington, MS);Ricky Russell, (Lexington,MS) Rena Cooper, (Jonesboro, GA); Sallie Bell/Ellis, (Chicago, IL); Derrick Hall(Tchula,MS); Lillie Gibson and Pauline Lacy both of (El Paso, TX); one stepson; Andrew Phillips, (Chicago, IL); one Godchild; Jaylan Phillips, (Belzoni, MS); twenty three grandchildren; forty five great-grandchildren; fifty three great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild and a host of family members and friends.
