Obituary For Kevin Burton

Kevin Lafayette Burton, age 48, of Hull, GA passed September 1, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the graveside of Athens Memory Garden. Public viewing, Friday 2-6 PM, at the funeral home.

Survivors include: his wife, Shantika Burton; sons, Latraveon (Brittany Stephens) Burton and Kevin Burton, Jr.; mother, Sara (Jerry) Rucker; grandchildren, London and Logan Burton; siblings, Tracey (Malinda) Curry and Rochelle Rucker; step sister, Candace (Saul) Majano; special cousin/sister, Loretta Burton; god daughter, Janelle (Shavoris) Dunn; god grandchildren, Tatyana Coleman, JaDasia and Lauren Dunn; mother in law, Shirley Mapp; sister in law, Anettra Mapp (Carlos) Strong; brother in law, Thariss Mapp; and other relatives and friends.

Kevin "Bird" was my cousin and one of the most memorable and laughable moments was...we got into a fight over a syrup sandwich. Yep syrup. He stuck his finger in my sandwich. It was on then...rest easy my cousin. Love you forever Shanna Willis-Thompson
