Ricky Allen Thomas age 59 passed away suddenly September 2, 2020, in Murfreesboro, Tn.

He is preceded in death by a very loving and devoted mother, Clara Bell Thomas; Step-father whom he loved dearly, James "Boosie" Richardson; Step-mother, Robbie Ferguson; Sister, Charlesetta Ferguson; Grandparents, Frank and Mary Lou Thomas.

Survivors include, a loving and devoted wife, Lisa Hughes Thomas; Son, Allen Ra'shawn Thomas; Father, Charles "Coach" Ferguson; Brothers, Shawn (Annisa) Richardson, Layne (Latonya) Lawrence, and Dr. Edrick Ferguson; Sisters, Wynee Ferguson Haynes, and Jamille (Patrick) Watts; Devoted Mother-in-law, Idalene Hughes; Sisters-in-law, Darlene (Clifton) Johnson, Beverly and Brenda Hughes, Teresa (Joseph) Anderson; Brothers-in-law, Hubert Pearcy and Archie (Kim) Hughes; Aunts, Lillian Medaries, Wilma (Edward) Seay, Dora Cummings; Great Great Aunt, Virginia Richardson; Uncles, Clyde Richardson, and James Ferguson; Special niece Shawnissa Richardson, a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends that he dearly loved. Devoted Godfather John Collier; Devoted cousins, Cleo Martin, Akins/Martin/Gamble families; Special friends, Greg Phillips, Randall and Cathy Williams, Mike Cohen, Ray Lanier, Malcolm Darden, The Strickland family; Special neighbor Luther Roper.

PUBLIC WALK THROUGH VIEWING WILL BE FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2020, 2-6 PM, HELLUM FUNERAL CHAPEL.

Funeral service Saturday September 12, 2020, 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 738 East Castle Street, Murfreesboro, TN, Pastor James McCarroll eulogist. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE ENFORCED. THE CHURCH IS FOLLOWING THE CDC MANDATE, AND ONLY 50 FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE HOMEGOING CELEBRATION FOR RICKY. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
