I wish I'd known of my cousin's sudden passing but my grief was not abolished by the time. She was my cousin, my friend, and an awesome mother and great Nurse, whom I was honored to know. She provided me shelter in the time of a storm. I will forever be grateful for her living. Lovingly, Veronica Thompson Jackson

To Emory and the family, my heart and soul is truly sadden at this news. Sam would a joy to be with. And I loved loved the relationship she shared with Emory. Her heart was so big. She took me into her home when I was going thru a rough time in my life. She rubbed my pregnant belly everyday we worked together. When Izabella was born, she was there encouraging me to get out of bed and walk. I loved her more than words can say. I'm truly sorry she never got the chance to spend the time she wanted to with Bella cause she moved. But I know she is in a better place. There's nothing I can say to take the pain away but know my deepest condolences are with the family.
