Magdaline "Pumpkin" Hargrove-Taylor, 65, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.

Private funeral service Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 with Bishop Lonnie Braswell, officiating.

Visitation 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Hunter-Odom.

Dear Taylor family, I am so sorry for your loss of dear Mrs. Maggie! I KNOW she's at peace now! She has suffered through so many obstacles this year; I'm saddened that she's gone, but relieved she's no longer suffering!! I assisted her a lot over the last few months when she came in for her weekly treatments. We became buddies & she thanked me so many times for being kind & helping her. She was always talking about her family & her grandchildren!! May you find comfort in the memories & knowing she was always thinking of you! I couldn't have asked for a better grandma for my boys. From day one "Punkin" was there and truly showed her love for them. I greatly appreciate all that she did for them and me over the years and she will truly be missed.
