When I was in Elementary school, I loved the days we would go visit the library. I loved Ms. Dye. We would all gather around while she read to us. She always had a huge smile on her face and greeted us all like we were the most important person she would see that day. She had a way of making a child feel special. Ms. Dye was the epitome of an educator and what we should all strive to be. I am very fortunate to have Coach and Mrs. Dye as education roll models in my life. I think of them often and I am grateful for their influence on teaching career. My deepest sympathies, Christina (Cooper) Jump Turner Co Class '91

Lois Dye was one of the finest ladies I ever had the blessing to know. I have known her almost since we moved to Turner County. Lois and I were Girl Scout leaders and to say she was a mentor and a teacher to me is an understatement. She was such a joy to know and someone I am honored to have called my friend! Praying for the family, especially sweet John Dye!Sue Mastrario

As long as I have been alive, I had my Aunt Lois in my life. She has been a strong, quiet, and positive force in the lives of our family members. Aunt Lois assumed the role of "matriarch" in our Hines Family when her own mother, Louise Hill Hines, transitioned to be with God. Aunt Lois filled that role well! We love and miss you, Aunt Lois..until we see you again in Heaven. Amen. Cynthia Bohannon-Brown (Cindy)

Such a "stately lady!" I remember when we had a hospital , where I worked at the time, and the twins (Mark /Michelle ) we're born. It was not an every day occurrence to have twins and everyone was excited. Fond ,appreciative memories of when Coach Dye would occasionally drop by my middle school health class and give an inspiring talk. .. such a great family to our county! So sorry for your loss.L.
