To the family of Brother Calvin Mayo, please know that Calvin's passing has caught my undivided attention and cause me to pause and pay due respect to the life he lived and the dedicated manner in which he served God. While I knew him for only about 5 years, I believed Calvin to have been a wise, moral and stand up Christian. Annually, among other events, we would find ourselves singing ole songs of Zion over a very sumptuous meal. Indeed, I am going to miss Brother Mayo's presence down here on earth but pray Heaven's gain of him. In sympathy, Joe Brinkley and family

We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to the Mayo family. Calvin and I worked together many years at Abbott in the LVS Solutions area. He was a easy going and kind man. He was a big sports fan especially high school sports. A great man who I can say was a friend. Your humbling spirit will be missed. On behalf of all the Solutions and LVS current and former employees may you rest in peace. Wil and Lisa Brown.

To the family we send our deepest condolences. Calvin and I have always been great friends from kindergarten, through high school and we both went in the US Navy together. He was a great supporter of the BTW Class of 1964 and faithful to his church. He will be missed by all. As he and I would walk home from the football games singing 'Theirs Is a Thrill Up On the Hill" is something I will never forget. Rest on Calvin God has a new sailor.
