Obituary For Joseph McQuiller

Joseph McQuiller passed away peacefully in his home. He was a lifelong resident of Durham, North Carolina. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and subsequently retired from American Tobacco Company and IBM Corporation.

He was an avid Bowler, great friend, loving uncle, nephew and father of two biological daughters.

He is predeceased by his parents James & Louise McQuiller and his brother Walter.

He leaves to mourn his two daughters: Myrna Cooper Seabreeze (William) of Kannapolis, NC and Lisa McQuiller Bullock (Derrick) of Durham, NC; special daughters: Joy Dixon and Angela Nunn of Durham, NC; Karone Blondin (Weaver) of Orlando, FL; special son Devlaming Peace, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren: Jeffrey Irving Cooper II 25 yrs, Derrick Isaiah Bullock 19 yrs, Lisa Dony’e Bullock 17 yrs and Deon Lamont Bullock 11 yrs; special grandson, Corey Dixon of Durham, NC; one uncle: Willie Holloway of Durham, NC, a host of nephews, family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Sept. 24, 2020 @ 1:00 pm Antioch Baptist Church 1415 Holloway St Durham NC Text Questions to 919-423-5385 by 09/23/2020

Masks are to be worn and social distancing required at all meetings with family, friends and services.
