Samuel D. Barham, III, 91, of Richmond, died September 10, 2020. Surviving are his wife, Jerlys T. Barham; daughter, Sonya D. Barham; son, Samuel "Chuck" D. Barham, IV (Teresa); two grandchildren, Samuel "Quinn" Barham, V (Chassidy) and Kayla Whitfield (Jay); nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Clementine Smith; brother-in-law, Lawrence Taylor (Gloria); other relatives and friends. Mr. Barham was a retired principal with the Richmond Public Schools and a deacon at First African Baptist Church. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Wednesday, September 16 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Private services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 17 at Scott's Chapel.
