Obituary For Nancy C. Price

Nancy C. Price, 73, of 826 New York Ave, Martinsville, Virginia, departed peacefully from this life Thursday, September 10, 2020. She was born on October 24, 1946 to the late Edgar McKinley Campbell and the late Nora Barksdale Campbell. She graduated from Carver High School in 1965. She went on to work for Tultex for 22 years. She later became employed at the Curtis Mathes Corporation as a manager for 15 years. She became a member of the Progressive Prayer Temple in 1994 where she was the church mother, served in the missionary society, participated in the adult choir, and was on the Usher Board. Mrs. Price was proceeded in death by five brothers, Edgar Campbell Jr, George Campbell, Acie Campbell, Joe Campbell, and Clarence Campbell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her Husband Willie F. Price Sr. of the home, three sons, Willie F. Price Jr., Kevin L. Price, and Chad L. Price and his wife Phaedra all of Martinsville, VA, two brothers, Jerry W. Campbell of Greensboro, NC and Lonnie Campbell of Martinsville, VA, One sister, Elizabeth E. Campbell of Martinsville, VA, 14 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Graveside services for Mrs. Price will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. at Carver Memorial Gardens in Martinsville, Virginia. A public viewing of Mrs. Price will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. at C.R.V. Hairston Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends any other times at 826 New York Ave in Martinsville, Virginia. All Services will be held with CDC COVID-19 guidelines requiring face coverings and social distancing. Arrangements Entrusted to Hairston Funeral Home with Courteous, Efficient, and Dependable Service.
