Mr. Harold Dean Covington, Sr. age 74 of Hickory, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Carolina Caring, Newton, North Carolina He was born in Catawba County, North Carolina on September 19, 1945 to the late Walt Flowers and Cathleen Covington He graduated from Rosewald High School, he also attended Lenoir-Rhyne University. Survivors are his wife, Sandra Smith Covington of the home, eight sons, Scott Spencer, Harold Covington, Jr., Marcus Covington, Kevin Covington, Jamar Covington, Mark Smith, Wilie Clark, Lance Clark, three daughters, Casondra Little, Holly Haggins, Sonya Clark , five brothers, three sisters

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 at 12 noon at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church

Due to COVID-19 everyone is asked to wear masks.
