Obituary For SGM (Ret.) Walter Redd

SGM (Ret.) Walter W. Redd, 85, of Radcliff, KY died on September 11, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Redd was a native of Leavburg, OH and the son of the late Arthur and Anna Evans Redd. Mr. Redd retired from the U. S. Army and was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Redd was preceded in by his wife, Emma; one son, Walter Wayne, II and his siblings, Arthur William Redd, Jr., Robert Melvin Redd, Laura Mae Redd Williams, Jay Andrew Redd and Rhona Jean Redd McCorkle.

Survivors include four sons, James Edward, William Crofford (Cheryl), Jonathan Dwayne (Latisha) and Remick Burke (Carol); one daughter, Deborah LaDonna (Randy); one daughter-in-law, Tena Redd; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Percell & Sons Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday, September 18, 2020 also at Percell & Sons.
