I meet Jay in Charlotte in 2018, we worked together and became close friends. Jay was a good man and great friend to me. We didn't have any mutual friends so I had no idea he passed away until today. My heart is broken. RIP Jay. I'm so grateful to have met you. With Love, Jess

I had the privilege of working with Jay many years ago in SGMC ER. There has never been a more precious soul. Jay's smile and mere presence in a room brought an element of hope & healing, even in the most hopeless of situations. Heaven surely shines a little more brightly now that this faithful follower has come home. Rest easy brother.

Lamont, there are so many memories I can't just go with one. You were always seemingly " lively" and happy. Even when things weren't going well. This seems like a nightmare and I'm hoping that when I wake up the outcome will be different. We love you and will forever miss you. Auntee Tina.
