Graveside service will be held 12 noon EST, Friday, September 18, 2020 at Bethlehem Cross Road Baptist Church with Rev. P. D. Johnson, officiating interment at Ft. Michell National Cemetery. Public visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 3-5 p.m.
Mary Ann Epps was born November 9, 1931 to the late Mr. Willie Abram and the late Ms. Lottie Dixon in Russell County, Alabama.
Mrs. Epps worked many years at Snows Cleaner and as a substitute in the Russell County School System. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Crossroad Baptist Church, Ft. Mitchell, AL. where she served as the Mother of the Church, President of the Deacon Wives, Senior Choir President, and Kitchen Ministry.
Survivors include five daughters, Gail (Samuel) Davis, Gloria Trottman, Seale, AL, Gwendolyn Miller, Glenda Epps, Phenix City, AL, Carease (Gerald) Ogletree, Upatoi, GA; two sons, Bernard Epps, Seale, AL, Marvin Epps, Birmingham, AL; one brother, John C. Dixon, Conyers, GA; two sisters, Virginia Lawton, Walterboro, South Carolina, and Louise Abram, Phenix City, AL; two brothers-in-laws, Robert (Shirley) Epps, Seale, AL, and Arthur (Cattie) Epps, Phenix City, AL.; three sisters-in-laws, Alberta McMurray, Lillie Bunn, Columbus, GA, and Julia Dixon, Phenix City, AL; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives, friends, and those who considered her as mother.
