Loretta Curtis-LeMay, 52, of Richmond, died September 14, 2020. Surviving are her husband, Keith E. LeMay; daughter, Raven Hope LeMay; mother, Rosetta Curtis; five sisters, Clementine Brown (Marvin), Yvonne Curtis, Cynthia Curtis, Gloria Parris (Linden) and Lorraine Howard (Mark); mother-in-law, Shelia Pollard; brother-in-law, Robert Pollard; sister-in-law, Amy Pollard; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Memorial servcies will be held 12:30 p.m. Saturday, September 19 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Sherol Southerland, officiating. Live streaming at www.scottsfuneralhome.com

Mrs. Lemay was such a beautiful soul. She had a wonderful presence. I always felt a little closer to home and closer to myself when she was around. She was a strong woman and had was just great with the kids at the high school. I am gonna miss her dearly. Rest in peace.

I had the honor of working with Mrs LeMay at Wilder Middle School. We would have prayer times and talks. She was always helpful and concern about the students. She shared her daughter with me, who would help decorate my room, check and organized papers. Mrs LeMay was a kind and loving person. She made an impact on all that she encountered. The day Mrs. LeMay set foot in the doors of John Rolfe Middle School we became friends instantly. She was very kind, caring, always willing to lend a listening ear, always helpful to everyone & showed her care & concern to the students. I will miss her warm smile,words of encouragement that she always had for me & the conversations we would have abt our families. Another angel has gained her wings. P.S. There was never a time at Henrico High School when Mrs. LeMay was not helpful, fun, kind, brilliant, and just simply there for her colleagues. I've missed her since she changed schools but was happy to stay in touch even if only on Facebook. She is an ANGEL and all my prayers and love go out to her family and close friends.
