Obituary For Larry Gene Gay

A Graveside Service celebrating the life of Mr. Larry Gene Gay will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa with Pastor Melvin Rhanes of Apply God’s Word, officiating.

Larry Gene Gay known to many as Poochie, was born September 14, 1957 in Doerun, Georgia to the late proud parents Jessie D. Gay and Rosa Lee Gay. Poochie was educated in Worth County, Georgia. In 1970 he located to Tampa where he began his life in Florida. For many years he was a roofer and from the years of 2000 thru 2015, he was a warehouse supervisor for Lazy Days RV Super Center until he retired. He was a blessing to all who knew him, especially his family. On September 7, 2020 he answered the call unto eternal rest.

He leaves to cherish fondest memories, his wife Linda Graham Gay; brothers: Willie C. Gay and Jerry G. Gay and wife Linda; sons: Don and wife Kia, Milton, Michael and Reginald; daughter: Jessica; grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Legend, LeniJa, Nevaeh and Eric. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, September18, 2020 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa. Family and Friends are requested to assemble at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.
