~WELL DONE~

"I fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge shall give me..." II Timothy 4:7 - 8

James Willie Loadholt left this life to return to the open arms of his Creator, on Tuesday morning, September 15, 2020.

"Jay" as he was affectionately called was born on September 15, 1935, to the late Queenie Harvin and John Ayers in Hampton County, South Carolina. He was the only child born to Ms. Queenie Harvin.

He was educated in the public -school system of Hampton County.

At any early age of seventeen, Jay relocated to New York City to be with his mother, and he began his work ethics, where he was employed with the New York City Transit where he later retired. He also worked at Axially Policeman 79th Percent in Brooklyn, New York. While living in New York Jay met many friends whom he loved and cared for dearly.

After living in New York for many years, "Jay" returned to Fairfax, South Carolina with his family and reunited with his family church "Greater Cherry Grove Christian Church Discipline Of Christ."

While living in Fairfax, Jay decided to return to work. He worked as a South Carolina Constable, and he was also a Bailiff in Allendale County Court System, including: The Allendale County Magistrate Office. Jay made for certain he kept the order, and looked after prisoners, etc.

Jay was a soft-spoken, hardworking and gentle man who cherished his family and friends. He was a strong man who did not let his illness defined him, in order to survive his life challenges. Jay continued to get up and down doing what he needed to do for himself. No matter what he was going through, he would stay positive, by saying, "Can I Say One Thing."

His parents, grandparents, son: Fredrick Crosby; daughter: Cheryl Greene, Grand-daughter; April Crosby, brother: Thomas Ayers, and Niece: Antoinette Dunaway, will greet him as he enters his new life.

My uncle's Jay was soo cool.. he showed me a lot of things.. But the most important thing he showed was as a man, it's not what you do it's how you do it. And Of course, God first and you will do what's right.

We the members and Clergy of Faith Tabernacle L.D.P.H.C sends our deepest condolences to the Loadholt family. Brother Jay's son Deacon Edward is a faithful member of our church. He is one that don't say much but he would often share a memory about his dad. Deacon Edward "ED" lived his dad and will truly miss him. Brother James 'Jay" came to our church when he would visit his son. Needless to say when meeting him for the first time was like we been knowing him all out lives. He was a kind spirited and gentle hearted man. The family will truly miss him and we will miss his great big smile. Just know that he love you but God loved him even more. He has claimed his wings and now resting in the sweet arms of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ. Lovingly Submitted, Bishop Loretta W Dillard & Congregation Bassett, VA
