Obituary For Billy Braddy

Mr. Billy Braddy, 700 Warren St., Louisville, GA departed this life, Monday, September 14, 2020 at his residence. Graveside services will be Friday, September 18, 2020 at 12, Noon at Pierce Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mask and social distancing required. Public viewing will be held at Davis Funeral Home September 17, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Mr. Braddy was a native of Grange Community, located in Louisville, GA. He was born to the parentage of the late Hardwick Braddy and Janie Mae Robertson Braddy. He was a graduate of the Jefferson County High School class of 1970. Billy retired in 2010 from Thermo King after 42 years of dedicated service. At an early age he joined the Christian family at New Hope A.M.E. Church where he served faithful most of his life serving on the Trustee Board and Steward Board. He later united with the Christian family at the Pierce Grove Baptist Church where he continued do the work of the Lord serving on the Deacon Board as well as the advisor over the Jr. and Sr. youth departments and the Sound Tech for the Music Ministry. Mr. Braddy was well known throughout the community due to his passion and love for sports. He coached baseball, football, and softball. He was also a member of the Sons of Louisville Masonic Lodge #579. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his loving and devoted wife, Kathleen Strickland Braddy, Louisville, GA; daughter, Natasha Nicole Braddy (Dennis) Mack, Louisville, GA; brothers, Alonzo Braddy, Waynesboro, GA and Roley Braddy, Louisville, GA; sisters, Bessie Dean Jones, Augusta, GA, Pattie Virginia Beal, N. Augusta, SC, and Evangela (Minister Melvin) Williams, Augusta, GA; grandson, Dennis Mack, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Barbara Sullivan, Linda Brown, Katherine Strickland and Lena Braddy; aunts and uncles and host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
