Obituary For Teresa Ann Wright

Teresa Ann Wright, 57, of Madison died Sunday, September 13, 2020. Public viewing will be Friday, September 18, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will have a private funeral service.

Teresa Ann Wright was born to Charlie and Virginia Wright on December 28, 1962. She departed this life on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Moses Cones Hospital in Greensboro, NC. Teresa, also affectionately called “Red”, was educated in the Rockingham County Public School Systems. She enjoyed cooking for large crowds, hosting annual backyard bar-b-ques, and trips to Myrtle Beach. Teresa also enjoyed helping others and spending time with family and friends. She was energetic, outward with a unique sense of style. She was a member of Zion Tabernacle of Deliverance Church in Eden, NC where she served on the usher board, and truly loved praising the Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia B. Wright and nephew, Cornelius Wright.

She leaves fond memories to be shared by her daughter, LaShonda Wright-Prunty (Tim), father; Charlie E. Wright, brothers; Alphonso Wright (Dee), Wallace Wright (Teresa), sisters; Patricia Womack (Marvin), Charlene Fox (Chris), Beverlyn Samuels (Byron), grandsons; Keshawnn Hampton, Mi’Kal Carter, great-granddaughters; Nova Blu and Ma’Lani Adelynn, 10 nieces and nephews, 4 great nieces and nephews,God-son; Kevin Jones, Jr., and other close relatives and friends. Special friends include Stella Oliver and Kaye Love.

Our hearts are heavy and covered with a sincere garment of sorrow but the saving grace is that good byes are not forever those we love are connected to us by heartstrings into infinity. She endured many challenges, overcame obstacles, accomplished many triumphs, loved fiercely and contributed to making this world a better place in which to live.Her inspiring smile would light up any room.
