Sunrise Mrs. Shirley L. Byers Adams, daughter of the late George Armstrong and Dorothy M. Floyd Byers, was born July 3, 1956 in Gaston County, North Carolina.

A Life Well Spent She was a member of the World Mission Society Church of God in Charlotte, North Carolina where she believed in both God the Father and God the Mother according to the teachings of the Bible. She worked at American & Efird Threads as a yarn spinner for nearly 25 years.

Sunset She departed this life on July 2, 2020 at Atrium Healthcare in Pineville, North Carolina. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters; Elizabeth Byers, MaryHelen Bolden and Brenda Byers, three brothers; Charles Byers, James Lawrence, Phillip Byers Sr, and one niece Susie Byers.
