Obituary For Dora Ferguson Cummings

Dora Ferguson Cummings age 90 passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Dora was known for sharing Bible truths with anyone. She was a loyal servant of Jehovah God for over 48 years, and a member of the South Murfreesboro Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She is preceded in death by her Parents Joe H. Ferguson, Sr. and Helen Avant Ferguson; Daughter Evelyn Garnett Jennings; Son Darrell York Ferguson; Grandson Larry Jennings, Jr.; Siblings, Elizabeth Malone, Joe H. Ferguson, Jr., Beatrice Wade, Glenn Ferguson, Lawson Ferguson, Lee Andrew Ferguson, Juanita Ferguson, and Robert Ferguson.

Survived by, Loving and devoted daughter Doretha Cummings; Sons Terry Ferguson and Dwight (Fadia) Shabazz; Devoted grandson Andrell Cummings; Grandchildren, Nour and Haneen Shabazz, Terrell Burden, Dr. Nyoka Nelson, Cotittico and Evan Ferguson; Loving Sister, Alomia Faye (Marvin) Reed; Brothers, Charles Ferguson and James Ferguson; Very devoted nieces, Freda Freeman, Bathsheba (Ricky) Reed; Special sister-in-law, Pam Ferguson; Numerous great grandchildren; Host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and members of the Murfreesboro Congregations of Jehovah Witnesses.

Drive through visitation Friday September 25, 2020, 3-6 PM at Hellum Funeral Chapel. Saturday Graveside service 1:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery, 519 Greenland Drive, Murfreesboro, TN, Brother Aaron Branson officiant.

Social distancing is advised at graveside.
