Lois will forever live in our hearts. She was always positive and upbeat. She seemed to sense when you could use a bit of positivity and there she would be on the phone with her signature "well hello!". She was willing to offer advice and encouragement and share memories and I will miss that. Thanks Lois and tell my Mom and Auntie we miss them, we miss you all. Gwen

Lois Travis was the greatest Godmother that lived life to the fullest. She taught to always put God first and education second. I will miss you so much. I know that she is in heaven with no worries but I wish I could have a little more time with her. Love you always your Goddaughter Jacqueline Houston.

I will always remember Lois, she tried so hard to reform our block club. She loved her gardening. Gonna miss our chats about it. Last thing she said to me was, go to the Cap meeting this month.

I was too thrilled when Gloria invited me to the December outings and absolutely ecstatic when I met Lois, who was loving, kind, and considerate. Those December outings were my best at CUT. Of course, they never took my advice to have the outings in June. Like, hey, I know you were born in December, but making it to the bus in this cruel weather?? Yet, each year, I was on the bus. God blesses still! ann fultz
