Charles Wesley Simmons, Sr. 85, of Denver, Colorado a native of Pamlico County died Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

The service will be private.

He is survived by two sons, Charles W. Simmons, Jr. and William E. Simmons, Denver, CO; one daughter, Mary M. Simmons Wilhite, Denver, CO; one brother, James Midgette, Bayboro; stepchildren, James Webster, New Jersey, Karhyn Butler, TX, Deborah Norman, NJ; three sisters Ethel Marie Frazier, Delzora Jarvis, Pastor Gladys Wright all of New Bern; 7 step grandchildren and 12 step grandchildren.
