RAINES, Ola Mae Mrs. Ola Mae age 89 of Atlanta, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 14, 2020.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21, 12 PM, at Monte Vista Biblical Garden, 1361 Hollywood Road, NW, Atlanta, Georgia.

Viewing will be held from 2 - 4 PM, on Sunday at Knox Funeral Home, 2357 Donald L. Hollowell Parkway, NW.

Ola Mae Raines was a special person in my life. My parents, Aunt Ola and Uncle Aaron were like sisters and brothers. Their home was the first place my parents lived after they got married. From the time I was born, she was not only my Aunt Ola but my second mom. She made me my first special cake when I was 5 yrs. old and I can remember riding in the taxi with Uncle Aaron from the time I was 3 yrs to 5 yrs old. When I got married 3 1/2 yrs ago, Aunt Ola was there along with my mom, who recently died in May of this year. I will forever cherish the moments I had with Aunt Ola. I'm definitely going to miss Mrs. Raines. She was like a mother to me during my high school years. She always welcomed me into her home. I will miss the cakes and gooood food! Tina
