Mrs. Elneta Jones was born on May 5, 1942 in Dixie, Georgia to the late Barney and Eunice Swain. She departed this life on September 14, 2020.

She leaves to cherish her sweet and loving memories; her loving husband, Mr. George Jones of Dixie, GA; she was the mother of 5 children, Helen Jones of Thomasville, GA, Dorothy Jones of Quitman, GA, and Michael Jones of Dixie, GA, two of her children preceded her in death; her siblings, Offum Swain of Morven, GA, Mildred Daniels (John) of Madison, FL, Ceda Robinson of Valdosta, GA; a special aunt, Ebenezer Cannady; her special grands, Kendrick, Kevin, and Danita; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris Jones and Vertis Paytee of Boston, GA, and Hebert Jones of Thomasville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Stevens-McGhee Chapel from 3PM-6PM. A private home going celebration will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 11AM.
