Frances A. Houston Walker, departed this life and transition to eternity on Friday, September 18, 2020. She was born December 19, 1935 and was the daughter of Rosa Scott and Dudley Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and father of her children Joe Robert “Ned” Houston, three children, Linda Taylor, Joe Michael Houston and Steve Houston, a grandson Larry Joseph Taylor, a sister Lena Faulkner, and her husband George Walker.

Frances was a faithful and dedicated member of First Baptist Church, Danville, KY for many years.

She was a loving mother, raised some of her grandchildren and had an open door policy to everyone.

Frances leaves to cherish her memory her children; Phyllis (Rodney) Dunn, Robin (Kathy) Houston and Tracy Houston, all of Danville, KY; four brothers, William Scott, Cincinnati, OH, James Scott, Danville, KY, Bobby Frye, Nicholasville and Oliver Garr, Cincinnati, OH; three sisters Willie Bailey, Cincinnati, OH, Piccola Greer of Louisville, KY and Fannie Walker, Danville, KY; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and special friends, Helen Guest, Jean Johnson and Flora Story.

Nothing like Ms Francis driving up after a long day at Greeting Card with a road full of kids since we were not playing in the yard it's was an additional one or two kids same age or close the ages of her own my friend Linda K, Steve, Robbie with her quiet & meek spirit she didn't mind cause we stayed beyond the street lights coming on cause it wasn't any that far down on the hill but we enjoyed being at the Houston's

Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Frances was a very nice lady. We enjoyed laughing and talking with her. I(Kathleen) was so glad I got to visit her on Thursday. Frances we will miss you!
