Obituary For Mr. Kelvin Lee Godfrey

Mr. Kelvin Godfrey, of Tallahassee and formerly of Sneads, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 16th in Tallahassee. He was 53 years old.

He was a graduate of Sneads High School and was self employed as a heating and air conditioning technician.

Kelvin leaves treasured memories with one daughter, Jaylon Godfrey of Tallahassee, Florida; four brothers, Willie Lee Godfrey of Greenwood, Florida, Jerry Godfrey and wife Tina of Chattahoochee, Florida, Earnest Godfrey, Jr. and his twin Kenneth Godfrey both of Sneads, Florida; two sisters, Dorothy Wilson and Jeanette Myrick both of Marianna, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held Friday, September 25th from 3-6 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 26th at 1:00 p.m. at Little Zion Church Cemetery with Pastor Nelson Wilson and Pastor Dennis Limbert officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.

Im Joel Barineau and I worked in the hvac business with Kelvin tree or four years, and I tell you he was too young! May his happy an beautiful soul continue to watch over us all. He did know how to get me laughing while driving job to job. hoping your resting high on that mountain my friend!
