Obituary For Annie Pleasant Johnson

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Mrs. Annie Johnson, formerly of Warren County, North Carolina departed this life Friday, September 18, 2020 at Louisburg Nursing Center in Louisburg, North Carolina.

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, North Carolina. Reverend Charles Walton will officiate services.

Annie leaves to cherish her memories daughter, Mary Ann Johnson of Washington DC and son Kenneth Johnson, Sr. (Evelyn) of Fayetteville, NC; one sister Pastor Mary E. Townes Howard of Goldsboro, NC; two granddaughters Yvette, Deborah, three grandsons Kenneth Jr, Michael, and Russell ;eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, family and friends.

The body will be on view at the funeral home starting at 12:00 Noon until 5:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services in Warrenton, North Carolina.
