Obituary For Patricia Ann Wells

Graveside services for Mrs. Patricia Ann Wells, 80, will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at Rocky Mount Church Cemetery. Pastor J. F. McKinney will be the eulogist. Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020.

Mrs. Patricia Ann Turner Wells was born on January 6, 1940, to the union of the late Mr. L. C. Turner and the late Mrs. Isma Williams King in Talladega, Alabama.

Mrs. Wells confessed her faith in Christ as her personal Savior and united with the Rocky Mount Missionary Baptist Church in Talladega, Alabama where she served as a longtime deaconess. She completed her education at Talladega County Training School. With the spirit of entrepreneurship, Patricia opened her own store serving those in the Talladega community and surrounding areas.

Mrs. Patricia A. Turner was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Milton Wells in September, 1955.

Mrs. Wells completed her time among the living on Monday, September 21, 2020. She was preceded on the road to eternity by her husband, Milton Wells; two sons, Wilbert Wells and Frankie Wells; a step-daughter, Vonella Jones; her parents, L. C. Turner and Isma King; and five siblings, Leon Turner, Arthur Williams, Mary Keith, Vira Whetstone and Lela King.

Precious memories will forever live in the hearts of her two daughters, Mary Wells-Fahie of Talladega, Alabama and Patsy (Lee) Fluker of Columbia, South Carolina; three sons, Milton (Carolyn) Wells of Stockbridge, Georgia, Walter (Linda) Wells and Cleon Wells of Talladega, Alabama; thirty-two grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; two sisters, Vennie Taylor of Columbus, Ohio and Jenny Ruth Calhoun of Talladega, Alabama; three brothers, Roman (Paulette) King of Talladega, Alabama, Lewis (Deborah) King of Columbus, Ohio and Michael (Bernice) King of St. Louis, Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
