MCWHORTER, Gloria J., age 63, of East Point, GA, passed September 21, 2020.

Celebration of Life Service for Ms. McWhorter will be Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 1:00PM; Willie A. Watkins Historic West End Chapel, 1003 Ralph D. Abernathy Blvd. Atlanta, GA 30310.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 2-6PM at Willie A. Watkins Historic West End Chapel.

Interment: Forest Lawn Cemetery

Kindness goes a long way a beautiful spirit. When we move in Gloria walk over and said welcome to the neighborhood. A rare quality we see in our communities today an expression of welcome. We gave her a chair to sit in and she made us laugh as we talk. You could tell she was a loving and kind person who love her children, her family and community. She lives on through children and family in the memories and love you carry in your heart for her. God blessing to you her family as you celebrate her life and legacy. I've known Jean for over 30 years, we were neighbors for over 20. I've always known Jean to be a very hard working Woman, that loved her children and family and took very good care of them.
