Ms. Barbara Lawanda Webb was born July 3, 1961 in Gastonia, North Carolina to Bertha Ann Webb and the late James Sanders. She went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2020 in the comfort of her home.

Lawanda attended Gaston College in Dallas, NC where she received her General Education Diploma. She was employed at Sharon Towers Nursing home before her employment at CTDI warehouse.

Lawanda leaves to cherish loving memories to her mother: Bertha “Penny” Webb of Gastonia, NC; one son: Omar Webb; five daughters: Fatima (Brian Nutter) Webb, Fatona Webb, Deonsha (Bernard Parker), Deasia Webb, and Destiny Webb; twelve grandchildren: JaQuais Barnett, Brandon Webb, Bria Nutter, Justice Webb, Zemariah Webb, Denaria Parker, Heaven Valasquez, Tiyani Webb, BJ Parker, Camdyn Parker, Armani Parker, and Gnik Webb; born to her mother, she leaves her brothers: Michael (Rose) Webb and Randolph (Cynetta) Webb; born to her father: James Sanders of Staten Island, NY and four other siblings; special friends: Deborah "Cuda" Jackson and Hermanita Morable and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins in PA, NC and GA and many friends in Gastonia and Charlotte.

Walk thru viewing at the funeral home on Friday; September 25, 2020 from 4 until 6.
