My prayers and condolences to the family. He and my father were friends for years. In 1977 he sold me my first car. He was working at Gerry Lane Chevolet on 14th street. I was walking on the lot he asked me where I was going. I told him I needed a car, just got hired at the shipyard and my dad wouldn't sign for me to get a car. He asked me how much money I wanted to spend. I had$400 in pocket. He had a car in the back that was just finished and he knew the owner personally. I liked the. I asked if I could give him$300 until Monday. He wanted to be sure he would get the money Monday. He TRUSTED me. I kept my word. Great friend and father. May he rest in peace.
