Obituary For Henry Lee Collins

Henry Lee Collins was born on May 12, 1950 to Alma Pierce and F.J. Collins in Sallis, MS.

Brother Collins accepted Christ at an early age and united with Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Later in life he united with Hudson Missionary Baptist Church, where he became and diligently served as a Deacon. Brother Collins was a loyal and faithful servant until his death. He received his education through Durant Attendance Center. He was employed at Tyson Foods as a Truck Driver until his health failed. March 11, 1972, he united in holy matrimony to Ms. Viola Erving.

The final chapter of his life was read and he was called home to rest on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at St. Dominic hospital. He was preceded in death by both parents, Alma Pierce and F.J. Collins; Stepfather: Mack Lewis Sr.; Sister: Earnestine Collins; Brother: Mack Lewis, Jr.; and nephew: Denzell Baker.

He leaves to cherish his memories: A devoted and loving wife, Viola Collins; Two sisters: JoeAnn Collins of West, MS and Rena (Willie) Lofton of Vaiden, MS; Six sister-in-laws and Three brother-in-laws. Also left to cherish his memory are a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Henry's life will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched. PLACE OF GRAVESIDE: Smyrna Cemetery, West, MS
